Refunds and cancellations

We want you to be confident when you enrol. This policy explains when you can cancel and receive a refund.

Self-paced courses and masterclasses

Because these give you immediate access to digital content, they are non-refundable once you have accessed the content. If you have not yet accessed any lessons, you may cancel within 7 days of purchase for a full refund.

Diplomas and specialist certificates

• Cancel within 7 days of enrolment and before submitting any assessment: full refund, less any kit already dispatched
• After 7 days, or once an assessment has been submitted: fees are not refundable, but you may pause your studies once for up to three months

Deluxe kits

Kits included in the Deluxe package are dispatched once your enrolment is confirmed. Unopened kits may be returned within 7 days of delivery; opened cosmetics cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.

Makeup artist bookings

• Cancel 14 days or more before your booking: full refund, less any bank charges
• Cancel 3 to 13 days before: 50% refund, or move your booking to a new date once at no charge, subject to availability
• Cancel less than 3 days before, or no-show: no refund, because your artist has reserved the day
• If we cannot provide an artist for a confirmed booking, you receive a full refund

Products bought through our shop

Products bought through affiliate links are sold by PHOERA Cosmetics. Returns are handled under PHOERA's own policy.

How to cancel

Email info@themakeupmasterclass.com with your name, the programme and your order number. Approved refunds are paid to the original payment method within 14 working days.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under South African consumer law.
