Overview

Editorial work is where artists build their name and their portfolio. This certificate teaches you to work on set: interpreting a mood board, collaborating with photographers and stylists, and producing skin and colour that hold up to high-resolution cameras.

Brandon is Glam Director of The Next Opulent Model South Africa and has worked on shoots in South Africa, Dubai and the Seychelles. The certificate passes on how professional sets actually run.

What you will learn

  • Translate a creative brief and mood board into a look
  • Adapt makeup to studio light, natural light and flash
  • Create HD skin that reads as skin
  • Execute graphic liner, colour and editorial eyes
  • Run a professional, hygienic set kit
  • Plan test shoots and build a portfolio

Questions about this programme

Do I need a photographer?
